From Sustainability to Resilience: Fall Gardening

August 16, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

Just because summer comes to a close doesn’t mean that the gardening season has to end. There are a number of garden crops that can be planted in the late summer for a fall harvest. Additionally, the gardening season can be further extended using low tunnels, cold frames, or the appropriate garden covering. This session will focus on these practices that can be implemented to extend the gardening season into the fall and early winter.
