Hydroponic Backyard Farming

December 4 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am EST

Learn about multiple types of future hydroponic systems in Florida, how to set them up, and how to grow a variety of vegetable crops in them.

Learn how to grow your own veggies in several simple hydroponic systems that can be used almost anywhere–balconies, patios or even sunrooms–to provide leafy greens throughout the cool season. Tour examples of different hydroponic set ups in our demonstration garden.

Please note: Recording the presentation, either video or audio, is not permitted unless written permission is provided by the educator.

The University of Florida is committed to providing universal access to all of our events. For disability accommodations such as sign language interpreters and listening devices, please contact Beth Marlowe (bmarlowe@ufl.edu or 904-255-7450) at least 2 weeks in advance. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
